If you’re looking for a gift or souvenir from Hawaii, plan a trip to the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet and Marketplace. Just make sure to put on your favorite sneakers or comfy walking shoes, because the seemingly endless row of vendors will have you walking your way around the entire outside perimeter of the stadium perusing a wide variety of merchandise at extremely affordably prices. They sell anything and everything from handmade items, art, popular local snacks (fresh coconut water from a coconut, bags of fresh cut fruit like pineapple, mango, etc), to imported merchandise and made in Hawaii products.
Admission Fee:
$1 per buyer (11 years and younger FREE)
Swap Meet is Open:
Wednesday 8am – 3pm
Saturday 8am – 3pm*
Sunday 6:30am – 3pm
*Closed for all University of Hawaii Football Games
Tips - Bring a bottle of water and plenty of sun block as it can get hot walking on blacktop and shopping in open air shops. Although some vendors accept credit cards, it’s also best to bring cash for your purchases. There are ATMs on site, but they charge a fee.
Savings Alert – Sometimes in airport brochures you can find a $1 off coupon for the Swap Meet. The last time we visited Hawaii, we found a $1 off coupon for the Swap Meet in the rental car maps brochure.
Some of my favorite Swap Meet Finds:
- Hawaii T-Shirts priced 5 for $20 and as low as 8 for $20 (A great gift or souvenir)
- Sterling Silver Hawaii Themed Jewelry priced as low as $4
- Made in Hawaii Jar of Coconut Peanut Butter for $6
- Hawaii Beach Towels and so much more!
