Although it takes a little getting used to if you grew up in a house where it is acceptable to wear shoes indoors, I’m definitely a fan of this tradition. With less dirt and debris tracked into the home, it is so much easier to keep clean and sanitary.
I would definitely like to make this a custom in our home back in the mainland. Since the no shoes indoors policy will affect everyone visiting our home, I hope friends and family don’t get offended! Do you have a no shoes policy in your home?

I grew up in a house where we could wear our shoes in the house so that's the tradition we've adopted. That said, I do think our home would be much much cleaner if we didn't allow outdoor shoes indoors. I also like your thought of adopting traditons while traveling vs things. Thanks for stopping by
